Content

Note that the course is conducted in English. You will develop your watercolor painting skills under guidance. You'll experiment with various techniques and exercises, create your own art, get inspired by other participants, and discuss the many possibilities of watercolor painting.

Scope

6 sessions combining practical exercises, theory, and discussions with guided personal creation.

Location

This term we will be at VERKSTAN (run by ceramicist Anne Drewitz), Sofiagatan (near Redbergsplatsen) in Gothenburg.

Accessibility

Gruvgatan is partially wheelchair accessible with an elevator and accessible restroom (RWC). There are some small thresholds and doors without automatic openers.

Free parking for 4 hours with registration. Good public transport connections, but a walk uphill from the nearest stop is required.

Target Group

The course is suitable for adults and teenagers from 16 years old.

Prerequisites

The course is open to all skill levels. Beginners wanting to learn the basics are as welcome as experienced artists seeking guidance and new techniques.

Materials

Bring your own painting materials: watercolor paints, brushes, watercolor paper, and sketching materials (pencil, eraser).

Instructor

Chiara Pignotti holds a PhD in Art, Research, and Production. She enjoys combining techniques in jewelry making, illustration, and printmaking. Chiara has previously worked in research, teaching, and lecturing at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Italy).

Innehåll

Kursen leds på engelska. Utveckla ditt akvarellmåleri under handledning. Prova olika tekniker och övningar, skapa eget konstverk, inspireras av andra och diskutera akvarellmåleriets möjligheter.

6 tillfällen med praktiska övningar, teori och samtal.

Tillgänglighet

Gruvgatan är delvis tillgänglighetsanpassad med hiss och RWC. Det finns några mindre trösklar och dörrar utan knapp.

Gratis parkering i 4 timmar med registrering. Goda kollektivtrafikförbindelser, men en promenad från hållplatsen krävs.

För vuxna och ungdomar från 16 år.

Passar alla nivåer, från nybörjare till erfarna konstnärer.

Kursmaterial

Ta med eget material: akvarellfärger, pensel, akvarellpapper och skissmaterial (penna, suddgummi).

Ledare

Chiara Pignotti har Fil.Dr inom konst. Hon kombinerar gärna tekniker inom smyckesskapande, illustration och tryck. Tidigare var Chiara verksam vid Polytechnic University of Valencia (Italien).
