Course Content

Together with Kritika Narang Landström, Studiefrämjandet offers a practical and inspiring course for anyone looking to strengthen their position in the job market. Over three sessions, you will work on creating a clear and professional CV and cover letter, receive concrete tips on building relationships and engaging employers through your application, and develop your ability to make a strong impression in interviews.

The course combines practical tools with exercises and reflection, giving you the opportunity to grow alongside others in a supportive environment.

The course can be offered in Swedish and English and can be adapted to the group.

Session 1 – CV and Cover Letter

Focus on creating professional and attractive application materials:

• What recruiters are looking for
• Structure and content of a CV
• Tailoring your cover letter
• Practical exercises and feedback

Session 2 – Networking

Learn to build and use your network strategically:

• What networking is (and isn’t)
• How to make connections – online & offline
• LinkedIn and personal branding
• Exercises in presenting yourself (pitch)

Session 3 – How to Stand Out

Interview techniques and relationship building:

• Preparing for interviews
• Common interview questions and answer techniques
• Body language and communication
• Building long-term professional relationships

Prerequisites

No prior knowledge required.

Location

The course takes place at Verksamhetshuset Hubben, room Gåsören. Hubben is located at Kanalgatan 51, in the courtyard behind Folktandvården. Our facilities are accessibility-adapted.

Course Materials

We recommend bringing your own laptop.

Note-taking materials, such as paper and pens, are provided on site.

Course Leader

Kritika Narang Landström has lived in Skellefteå for five years and has an academic background as a PhD student at Luleå University of Technology. She now runs a business helping individuals strengthen their position in the job market.

With a strong commitment to personal development and learning, Kritika guides participants in creating effective CVs, refining their cover letters, and placing special emphasis on relationship-building – how to establish genuine connections with employers during the application process. She is passionate about inspiring people to take the next step in their careers and achieve their goals.
