In this course, we’ll focus on learning to see. Our goal is to sharpen and train our observation skills by exploring the difference between what we think we see and what’s actually in front of us. Through a variety of drawing exercises concepts and techniques, will develop visual awareness and confidence.

We’ll learn to plan our drawings with attention to:

Composition

Scale

Proportions

Relationships between shapes

And more…

All necessary materials are included in the course price.

We’ll also look and analyze drawings by both classical and contemporary artists to understand how they approached similar challenges and what we can learn from them. Most sessions will take place seated at a table, working on small four months with simple steel life arrangements/models
