Our Basic Study Circle Leader Training gives you the foundation you need to lead study circles that inspire engagement, build community, and give people the opportunity to grow.

During the course you will:

• Explore the role of a study circle leader – what does it mean to lead a group and create a learning environment?

• Learn about the history, values, and pedagogy of popular adult education – why is it so unique and important to society?

• Gain tools for creating a well-functioning group – how do you build trust, participation, and curiosity?

We combine lectures with discussions and the sharing of experiences among participants. You will have the opportunity to reflect on your own role, listen to others, discover similarities and differences, and be inspired by a variety of perspectives.

We meet on Teams and participation with both camera and microphone is required. You need to attend the entire session.
