Innehåll

Our times call for presence—not as something new, but as an ever-growing need. Collective practices connect the self, the collective, and the community: looking back at the past, grounding in the present, and imagining a just future. Artists, designers, creatives, activists, thinkers, organizers, and teachers carry knowledge as threads that interconnect with others. Together, we explore synergies that begin with the individual, extend to the collective, and move outward to the community. Being and working with people is not solitary, but a relational practice—with one another, with processes, with humans and non-humans, and with the ecology of our everyday lives.

As part of The Green Living Room program, Kulturrummet invites you—artist, designer, creative, activist, scientist, thinker, neighbor, organizer, or teacher—to join a short professional course focused on collective practices. The course is led by Abbas Sbeity (curator and designer), with contributions from invited artists and practitioners. Rooted in informal education and hosted through participatory methods, we create a shared learning space that is practical, reflective, and grounded in lived experience. This is a professional course that requires full attendance and commitment. If you’re up for it, we promise an inspiring transformation. What will you do?

  • Meet people—like-minded, or perhaps not
  • Explore ways of working individually, collectively, and in community
  • Contribute with your own knowledge, skills, and curiosities

Through shared rituals of gathering, reflection, and learning, we will explore the theme of collective practices.
