KiCad Course

Umeå Hackerspace offers a course in KiCad, a free electronic design automation (EDA) program, with focus on modular synthesizers and other audio things!

Kursen går ut på att lära sig rita kopplingsscheman och kretskort i KiCad. Även hur man ritar egna symboler och fotavtryck samt hur man genererar Gerber-filer för tillverkning.

English Description:
In this course we go through the basics of designing your own circuit board as well as playing around and getting to know the software.
The course teaches how to draw schematics and printed circuit boards (PCBs). In addition, drawing custom symbols and footprints, and generating Gerber files for manufacture.
