Game Audio Production - Audiokinetic Wwise

Game Audio Production - Audiokinetic Wwise
Start learning how to implement your sounds and music in Games. OBS! Kursen hålls på engelska!
This Game Audio Production course is entirely focused on Wwise software, a powerful and accessible middleware tool from Audiokinetic for integrating audio into games.
From the basics of the software to Wwise-Unity integration we will explore and experience some of the many possibilities this software has and how to use it in a work related situation.
Video game creation is a constant and rapidly evolving industry that benefits from new technologies and the aim of this course is to prepare the student to handle all of the major aspects of creating game audio.
Content:
From the installation and the basic presentation on how the software works and handles sounds we will immediately jump into:
Hierarchies, Tools, randomisations, Game Syncs, Game Objects, Editing, Managing media files and Workgroups, Soundcaster, Events, States, Switches, Soundbanks, Platforms, RTPCs, Triggers, Interactive Music, Dialogues, Unity integration.
We will explore how Wwise works, how it’s organised and how to keep everything organised, smooth and cheap on resources. We will also have a look, as anticipated, on the Unity integration with Wwise, so also Unity will be considered and explored a bit to be able to work on both platforms and being as much independent as possible during the development of a game.
We will also have a rapid look on sound design and music composition techniques specifically used for game audio and how to use Wwise also as an instrument for interactive mixing.
