Stockholm Metal Mania
Weekly online program that we make, mostly talking about Metal music, specially local bands and events happening in Stockholm. Our goal is to highlight topics, bands, and events through creating a big network helping this fantastic subculture to grow fast and steady. If you have a study circle and are playing Metal with us at Studiefrämjandet you can contact Sam Soliman and ask for a review, interview or just a short feature.
In addition, Our team would gladly have interviews with the local bands and get involved in Metal music events, gigs and concerts. We show off the world how wonderful the Metal scene is, here in Stockholm. Additionally we try to encourage the bands and the Metalheads in Sweden and the rest of the world to be part of our incredible society.
For us, Metal is not just a music, its attitude, Its our life style, so as we always say, “Let it be Metal, Let it be Life!”

Here comes a biography of us who are behind this project:
Hakan Dincer is living in Stockholm for last 5 years. One of our two Turkish members behind the camera. He has been bassist of several metal bands in Turkey since the beginning of university years and participated many events and concerts organizations since then. Now, beside his metal bands, he is in the Stockholm Metal Mania family !
Milad Resaeimanesh (Milö), 31 years old from Iran. He has been living in Sweden for Almost 7 years. (2013-now), and in Eroupe for 16 years.
To him, metal is not only a music genre, Metal is a global movement, a world wide language, a common understanding in a massive scale. Milö thinks metalers all around the world have organized a big family, so if you love metal then you have many siblings.
For Milö, as a refugee living in Europe, Metal played an important role to be adapted to the host countries. The world, that sees you as a highly religious and radical Muslim only cause you are born in Iran, and keep asking “are guys in middle east really atheist, and actually to Metal?”, ‘’Metal is not only a sub culture, its my savior’’.
Alper Coşar coming from Turkey. 5 years ago. He came to Stockholm for working for a company. Before, studied Cinema in France, also studied translation in Istanbul. In Turkey He worked for televisions as a script writer and also as a translator for different companies. For Stockholm Metal Mania he is one of the guys behind the camera.
Alper quotes: All my life I listened a lot of music including metal. But I am not a metalhead. As the legend jazz pianist Duke Ellington said "There is only two kind of music, good music and the bad music. I listen to the first one"
Sam Soliman, a 32 year old guy originally from Syria and came to Sweden as a refugee for almost 4 years ago. Sam is educated in business management and he is a musician and a guitarist who participated with many musical projects and bands in Stockholm. Before moving to Sweden Sam was one of the metal guitarists in Syria who was struggling to spread metal music in his country and unfortunately as many others became threatened of the government because of it. In the meantime Sam is studying Audio engineering and still playing with metal bands and as a reporter and manager at Stockholm Metal mania.
